Coach

Josh (being somewhat disappointed in the basketball program in MV) decided to take it upon himself to put together a team of 6th grade boys and teach them how to play ball.

He has done an   AMAZING job with these kids and they all LOVE having him as a coach.  It has been fun to watch them develop their ball game as well as becoming a team of good friends.

We had our team BBQ last night to kick off the summer and a little break from league and tournaments.  Even though its been a fun season, I am looking forward to getting my husband back and enjoying our summer bball free!  (Well, maybe not entirely bball free...)

I LOVE YOU COACH!! YOU'VE DONE A GREAT JOB!!

It's FINALLY Summer

School ended on Monday (thank heavens) and I don't think I've seen Ryson since.  Monday was a 1/2 day of school so Josh and I picked Ryson up at Z's (along with Reece) and took them to DQ for a Blizzard.

Rys had a dentist appointment at 1:30 (I did this to him last year too.  I have the day off so I schedule things-but the afternoon at the dentist probably isn't the most exciting way to spend the last day of school).  After his appt he hung out with friends, we ate some dinner and then off he went to Meagans for a bonfire.  We didn't see him again until 1am (with Jake in tow).  They were up at 7 and back at it.  Outside with friends all day on Tuesday and then the fire was at our house Tuesday night.  Needless to say, he was pretty tired Tuesday night but was bored by 9am this morning....going to be a long summer.
